I’m so sick of people acting like visionaries or gods, judging Obama before he even becomes President.
Pretending to know what’s going to happen, what an ego!

The time to “wait and see” was over when Obama began his campaign for President.
Flouting a dreamy and fluffy idea of Obama and his and your supposed dreams for the U.S and the world indicates that you have succumb to the marketing campaign of what you wish he personified.

His performance when campaigning for president (praise for Israel), his appointments (namely Chief of Staff) and inaction (on the Gaza massacre) after he succeeded describe his intentions clearly. He does not wish or cannot diverge from the status quo.

Many people go to movies, and have their heart strings tugged at, with music and image flawlessly merged and timed to elicit that EXACT response. The creators of these fictions KNOW exactly what they are doing : they have years of study, scientific and anecdotal, of ‘conditioned’ people and they thrill when the approriate responses turn these fictions into ‘blockbusters’, bankrolling yet more fictions. Not to mention their extravagent life styles.

The sheer brazen uglyness of Bush and the now widely understood meaning of Abu Graibh, of ‘rendition’, of Fallujah, of good men trned mad, of Veterans whose souls have been seared and shredded in the illegal and immoral wars in Iraq and Afghnanistan, the knowledge that the bankers and hedge funds have ripped us off and we are now forced to mortgage our childrens taxes, the incessant internal war of terror, the denuding of civil liberties have all revealed the naked greed and venal urge to power of the US administration and it’s ppeteers.
And for many, many good honest people that is a deep and abiding sadness, one that we all wish would somehow vanish. Hope!
And Obama’s job was to catch all that, wrap it in some carefully selected fine words, shroud it in the mantle of Martin Luther King, in effect to seduce us all. And it worked.
Even I cried during Obama’s victory Speech on 4th November, I cried in spite of myself, in spite of my hatred and disgust for this kind of dishonest emotional black mail. I felt tears rising as Obama spoke after having fluffed his oath, (a telling moment indeed!) and I fought them down, I resisted the ploy.
Less than a week has passed, and Obama has bombed Pakistan, avoided comment on Gaza, pledged to close down the CIAs international ring of ‘black sites’ (How will we ever really know that this has been done : Will we be shown a list of those sites? Will we see any form of verification? Are we to take his word on it? Not on my watch!)….
The back-lash to come must be fierce, unrelenting and fully ready to haul Bush, Cheny, Blair and all who have sought to mess with our minds, our hearts while they have murdered millions of people, and while they continue to do so. We have been psychologically raped, no less. And that cannot go unpunished!

Yes, only one week passed since you Mr. Obama sworn and became the president # 44 of United States. Yes, I’m very disappointed that you entirely avoided to comment on the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which killed and wounded many children and women. Only one week passed, and you has bombed Pakistan killing innocent people in Pakistan. Welcome Mr. new president, go ahead and continue the injustice role and the American blind support to the aggressors. Sasha and her sister are happy and enjoying their new life in the white house, Who cares about killing children in Gaza or Pakistan!! do you?!! I doubt.

There seems to be an expectation across the progressive liberal spedctrum that when we look into the eyes of Israelis like Tipi Livni or Bibi Netanyahu that we see products of Enlightenment and reason like ourselves.
It’s about time we realised that Zionists like these are emphatically not products of reason and the Enlightenment.
Rather they stand for something akin to the Islamist /Salafi enemies they helped to cultivate.Both are characterized by a medieval siege mentality and an exclusivist compulsion to destroy enemies perceived to be all around them.
Moreover both have historically been sponsored by Western imperialist elites.
Thus an intractable cycle of violence has been set in motion that plays into the hands of those geopolitical strategists who see long-term benefit when the sceptre of spreading conflict across S W Asia is raised.
As for those guys like poor Cornelius crying into their beer over the Obama inauguration-they would be more gainfully employed getting their hands on a novel by one Edward House from 1912 called Philip Dru: Administrator.
The novel is a fictionalized account of the role House himself took along with players like Rabbi Stephen Wise,Lewis Brandeis,Paul Baruch et al in becoming the shadow government behind the Woodrow Wilson administration.
These actors like George Soros et al today set out to install their own glove-puppet ( “creature” is House’s phrase in the novel )and to deflect US government policy in a decidedly pro-Zionist direction.
Thus there are historical precedents for the Chicago Zionist mafia installed in the White House with Obama’s inauguration.Like Wilson in the run-up to his election in 1912,Obama has given public obeisance to the rejection of Enlightenment values represented by the Jabotinsky strain of Zionism.
In Wilson’s time this irrational,ethnically-based ideology was spreading via Jewish migration from Russia.It should be pointed out here that it never really took hold even with the majority of these “Eastern Jews”.

The issue in Gaza, in The White House and elsewhere is to do with the exercise of power OVER others and how that determines society.
My piece was an attempt to show how feelings are manipulable, as a result of conditioning, and thus predictable. And that this process of manipulation is rational and reasoned.
From within the confines of what you called the age of enlightenment, of reason, came that which spawned Scientific Rationalism. That is what governs our world today.
The entire system of industrial society (ignore labels such as capiltalist, socialist etc etc) rests upon one single fact : we manipulate our childrens minds for our own wants and desires, against the natural interests of their true needs. This causes untold damage, and very few people are willing to acknowledge this…..
We are for the most part, innoncently drawn into this process because we are unaware – that is why people still send their children to ‘schools’ to ‘learn’. Why people goto movies to ‘feel’.
