Stop the world, I want to get off. This is a disturbing CBC documentary entitled The Disappearing Male. It is a 44 minute video about a critically important, yet seldom covered, issue facing the human species: the toxic threat to the male reproductive system by endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
“We are conducting a vast toxicological experiment”, Dr. Herbert Needleman has declared ominously, “in which our children and our children’s children are the experimental subjects.”
After viewing, be sure to watch a couple of Star Trek episodes or read some science fiction that embodies more positive visions of our future.
Unfortunately, I’m stuck on an old funky box while visiting friends, and it can’t handle the media. Lot’s to catch up on when I get back home, but this… I hate to say it… might not be all bad.
The way things are going, we could use less, or no, more of us.

Google video really is the worst. Never seen such a jumpy film anywhere else for years and the buffering is also worthless.
