After I’m done drinking my coffee, I take a dump on my western (as opposed to Arabic style) toilet. I then shower in any kind of soap Proctor and Gamble came out with at the time and dry myself off while standing on Italian tiles. As I go through my day, I realize that I speak English more often than Arabic. I check my phone which has a windows (american) based system, not to mention my nokia. All this while I am dressed in clothes that are western in fashion. I do all this so that I can fit in, here in the middle east. We may have historically effected the outcome of the world but then again we are obviously missing in its future.
