Jeff Halper has been arrested multiple times for his protests against the demolition of Palestinian homes by Israeli forces. He works with other local activists (Palestinian and Israeli) working to block Israeli bulldozers from destroying Palestinian homes so they can make room for Israeli settlers, as well as rebuilding homes again after they’ve been demolished. Halper was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
