Jeff Halper has been arrested multiple times while working to prevent the demolishment of Palestinian homes by Israeli forces. Halper works with both Palestinian and Israeli activists (as well as visiting international volunteers) to protest these actions and rebuild homes after they’ve been destroyed. Halper was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 and recieved the Kant World Citizen Prize in 2009.
