Bahrain: Shouting in the dark

A must see documentary which the Bahraini and Saudi regimes have tried to suppress.

Bahrain: An island kingdom in the Arabian Gulf where the Shia Muslim majority are ruled by a family from the Sunni minority. Where people fighting for democratic rights broke the barriers of fear, only to find themselves alone and crushed.

This is their story and Al Jazeera is their witness – the only TV journalists who remained to follow their journey of hope to the carnage that followed.

This is the Arab revolution that was abandoned by the Arabs, forsaken by the West and forgotten by the world.

  1. Witness the State.
Witness the great ally of the United States, where the obedient cowards park their Fifth Fleet.

  2. Obama Bin WallStreet did not know the fat cat King Abdullah called in the troops to cross the long bridge to Manama? Of course he didn’t (he would allege blinking a blind eye). The Shiites from Iran would come in and a missile crisis a la Cuban would raise its head. (Awh no, couldn’t have that.) Hence the silence from Washingdoon.
