Renowned journalist, author and filmmaker John Pilger writes today at Antiwar.com:
The revolt in the Arab world is not merely against a resident dictator but a worldwide economic tyranny designed by the US Treasury and imposed by the US Agency for International Development, the IMF and World Bank, which have ensured that rich countries like Egypt are reduced to vast sweatshops, with half the population earning less than $2 a day. The people’s triumph in Cairo was the first blow against what Benito Mussolini called corporatism, a word that appears in his definition of fascism.”
The article begins with Pilger’s 2003 interview with former elite CIA officer Ray McGovern. McGovern responds to Pilger’s question about Norman Mailer‘s assertion that America has entered a pre-fascist state:
Well … I hope he’s right, because there are others saying we are already in a fascist mode.”

I watched the video on Palestine and have posted it on FB. I know some of my friends in the US will think it is some right wing conspiracy. They are very confused and misinformed over there.
I had some forceful comments when I posted the scene when Ray McGovern turned his back on Hilary. They thought he was rude and didn’t have a clue where he was coming from. The fact he worked for Bush was enough for them to think it was a right wing conspiracy. I told them he is the Daniel Ellsberg of today..and remember the Pentagon Papers.
I was chided for not reading the article properly and spreading right wing propaganda. They are very nice people with good values, educated etc..I live in a different country and access more information about this topic ..this is what you are up against..but don’t stop..the situation in Gaza and else where can’t go on any longer..it’s inhumane..

Thus would arise a State ethnically homogeneous from the Mediterranean Sea until the Jordan, sheltering in its midst Palestinian “Bantustans”.
