Former Israeli Ambassador advises that another country “should be wiped off the map”

In a Fox News interview, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Dan Gillerman argues, extraordinarily, that a country which “thumbs its nose at the world” and possesses nuclear weapons “should be wiped off the map of the world”.

  1. So you’re implying that this is horrible, whereas Achmadinejad doing the same thing for the last 8 years or so against Israel has never troubled you? Do I smell the usual double standard? In which case your point is wothless.

    1. Ahmadinejad never said Israel should be wiped off the map, although the formation of the Jewish state did indeed wipe Palestine off the map. Ahmadinejad said Israel would vanish from the page of time due to its own policies.

    2. “So you’re implying that this is horrible,”

No, he’s implying that Gillerman has just redefined the meaning of the word “chutzpah”.

“whereas Achmadinejad doing the same thing for the last 8 years or so against Israel has never troubled you? ”

Ahmadenejad said that the Zionist regime will disappear from the pages of time.

He is therefore doing nothing more than predicting that Israel is a doomed enterprise, whereas Gillerman is advocating that action must be taken against North Korea i.e. the former used the passive voice, the latter used the active voice.

Think of it this way: Ahmadenejad could also gloat that he is looking forward to dancing on his Mother-In-Law’s grave, but that does not in any way “prove” that he is planning her murder, merely that he detests the old bird.

Dan Gillerman, on the other hand….. would be insisting that YOUR Mother-In-Law must be rubbed out and – adding insult to injury – for no other reason than that it will put the frighteners on HIS Mother-In-Law.

      See the difference?

  2. Gillerman has an extraordinary amount of ‘chutzpah’ to thumb his nose ….and use this specific term, (which israeli govt has milked for all it could) purposely mistranslating and attributing those very words to Ahmadinejad years ago.
Use of WMD by Israel to “resolve” its troubled relationships has always been implied intentional threat, which is why they prefer ‘ambiguity’ about their full spectrum of WMD…yet punish the first most heroic whistle-blower, MORDECHAI VANUNU, who warned the world in 1986, they have nuclear weapons.
With “leaders” like Gillerman, there can be no doubt that aggressive apartheid entity must change or disappear from the pages of history…and soon!

  3. I know a country that has nuclear weapons and thumbs its nose at the world. That country is Israel. If Dan Gillerman doesn’t have a double standard (which of course he does) then Israel too should be wiped off the map
